This page lists every keyboard shortcut built into the KERYX desktop app, screen by screen.

#Trim & publish

The Trim screen has the most shortcuts in the app — its header shows a live reminder of them (I set in · O set out · ← → ±1 s · shift ±0.1 s · space play).

Key Action
I Set the in point at the current playhead position
O Set the out point at the current playhead position
← Nudge the last point you set back 1 second
Shift + ← Nudge the last point you set back 0.1 seconds
→ Nudge the last point you set forward 1 second
Shift + → Nudge the last point you set forward 0.1 seconds
Space Play or pause the video
Esc Close Trim & publish and return to Recordings

Note: These keys are ignored while you're typing in a text field, so they never interfere with the title or description.

#Media Library

Key Where Action
Esc Media Library screen Closes the Media Library (only when no dialog below is open)
Enter Move to folder dialog Confirms the move
Esc Move to folder dialog Cancels the move
Enter Rename folder dialog Confirms the new folder name
Esc Rename folder dialog Cancels the rename
Enter or Esc Renaming a file's name inline on its tile Both confirm the new name — neither one cancels

#Recordings

Key Action
Esc Close the Recordings screen

#Service Picker

New Service, Edit Service, and Save as Template are each a small dialog with one text field:

Enter Title field — New Service dialog Creates the service
Enter Title field — Edit Service dialog Saves the change
Enter Name field — Save as Template dialog Saves the template
Esc Any of the above Closes the dialog without saving

#Settings

Key Action
Esc Close Settings and return to Edit mode (only when you're not focused in a text field or dropdown)

#Dialogs and menus (throughout the app)

These apply wherever the element appears — the Add to Service drawer, the background picker, right-click context menus, and any modal dialog:

Key Action
Esc Close the open drawer, picker, context menu, or modal
Enter Confirm the field you're typing in (e.g. the scripture lookup box in Add to Service)

#Presenting in Edit mode

Note: There's no keyboard shortcut for advancing slides, going black, or switching stream scenes while presenting — every one of those is click/mouse only. If you want to run the service without touching the keyboard, see the companion's Live tab instead.
